Well this week we had the first baseball practice of the season.. Dakota got a line drive hit to him....needless to say we have had our first broke and second broke bone....The NOSE AND THE CHEEK BONE......
This is after a blood filled T-shirt, and 2 rolls of gauze like he is holding and during our 5 and half hours at the "wonferful" ETCH ER...
This is waiting in the 24 hour Walgreens pharmacy parking lot......
This Wednesday afternoon.....
Yesterday, we went to see the ENT Dr. Graves, the nose is stable so there is nothing else that needs to be done. He has told Dakota he can go back to the field when he is ready but he would suggest a face mask for the next 3 to 4 weeks. And being Dakota on the way to school he said mom can you go get me a face mask before practice tonight so that I can practice. What a trooper.... we now have a face mask and he is ready for practice Saturday. Last nights practice was cancelled.
